Former chairman of Syrian National Council
A Thinker and a university professor, the chairman of the first national council which included the parties of the Syrian revolution in its early stages, head of the Syrian Center for International Relations, a professor of political sociology at the Sorbonne University and a former director of the Center for Contemporary Middle East Studies. He holds a Ph.D. in philosophy and humanities and a Ph.D. in political sociology from the Sorbonne University, He has more than 20 books in both Arabic politics and sociology in additions to hundreds of studies and articles published in international and Arabic magazines and press.
