Osama Hamdan graduated from university in Jordan in 1986 and joined the Hamas office in Tehran in 1992. He represented Hamas in Tehran from 1993 to 1998 and then moved on to be Hamas’ representative in Lebanon from 1998 to 2009. He assumed the position of Head of International Relations Department for Hamas in 2009. He has been part of Hamas delegations for the Palestinian National Dialogue and has participated in several seminars and conferences. He is the author of several research papers on the Palestinian issue, the Palestinian-Israeli Relations and the Arab-Israeli conflict.
