Minister's Assistant for International Cooperation Affairs
Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani was appointed Assistant Foreign Minister for International Cooperation Affairs in January 2014. He obtained a BA in Economics and Business Administration from Qatar University in 2003. He joined the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in 2003 as an Economic Researcher and then was successively promoted until he reached the position of Director of Economic Affairs, in the period from 2005 until 2009. He was appointed Manager for the Project on supporting and developing small and medium scale state enterprises at the Ministry of Business and Trade in March 2009. He was appointed Secretary of the Personal Representative of H.H. the Emir for Follow-up Affairs, at the Emiri Diwan in June 2010.
