Director of the European Centre for Palestine Studies at the University of Exeter
He is also a fellow and full professor at the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies at the University of Exeter. Pappe received his PhD from the University of Oxford in 1984. He taught at the University of Haifa until 2006 when he was forced to leave due to his views. He is also the author of twenty books, including The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine (2007), The Ten Myths of Israel (2016) and The Biggest Prison on Earth: A History of the Israeli Occupation (2017).
