Writer and Researcher in Arab and Islamic affairs, particularly the Palestinian national movement
He has a master’s degree in modern Arab studies, and his thesis was on ideological and political transformations in the Palestinian national movement. Orabi has co-authored a book that is part of a series about the concepts and terminology of the Palestinian cause and has published numerous studies, reports, analyses and articles in both Arabic and English. He is currently a researcher at Vision Center for Political Development in Istanbul. Furthermore, Orabi writes regularly for several newspapers and magazines as well as websites and contributes regularly on Palestinian, Arab and international television channels as a political analyst.
