Director General of Al-Zaytouna Center for Studies in Beirut
Previously, he was an assistant professor of history at the International Islamic University in Malaysia, and between 1993 and 1994 he was the executive director of the Middle East Studies Centre in Jordan. Saleh won the Beit Al-Maqdes Young Scholars award in 1997 and received the Teaching Excellency award from the International Malaysia University in 2002. He received his PhD in modern and contemporary history in 1993. Furthermore, Saleh has authored 13 books and edited more than 60 books, mostly on the Palestinian issue. He was the editor of the periodical, Palestine Today, until 2014.
