Former head of the Department of Political Science at Cairo University
He is a professor of political science at Cairo University. He worked as a visiting professor in a number of universities and gave lectures at several Egyptian diplomatic institutes under the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in several Arab countries. He also served as general coordinator of the Egyptian anti-succession campaign during Mubarak’s regime, and later became coordinator of the National Society for Change. Nafaa's published works include Reforming the United Nations, Egypt and the Arab Israeli Conflict and Political Systems in Western Europe and North America.
