Professor of international relations at the University of Algiers
She is an Associate Researcher at the Centre for Research and Studies on Applied Economics for Development. She is currently heading a team researching Algerian foreign policy at the Maghreb Studies Centre of the Political Science and International Relations Faculty. She is also a member of the board of studies on conflict analysis and peace at the faculty. Ait Hamadouche's research studies focus on Algeria, including the domestic political situation, foreign policy and regional implications.
