Member of the Saudi Shura Council
He is a Former Head of the Department of Political Science at King Abdulaziz University. He earned a PhD in International Relations from Claremont Graduate University. He has served as assistant professor at King Abdulaziz University, adviser to the National Security Council, and cultural attaché at the Saudi embassy in Washington. Fadil is member of various academic and non-academic committees and has participated in many regional and international conferences. Among his books are Principles of Political Science and The Stumbling Arab Spring.
