Former Egyptian Minister for Legal Affairs and Parliamentary Councils
He was a professor and dean at the Law Faculty of the Menoufia University. He lectured on international economics law at the Sorbonne University and conducted research on arbitration and economic legislation at the International Institute for Comparative Law in Lausanne. He headed the constitution drafting committee after the 2011 revolution and was the general secretary of the popular legal group for reclaiming stolen assets. Mahsoub is author of several books including: The Egyptian Modern State: from Renaissance to Subjugation, and Conflict between Law and Morality.
