Al Jazeera Net is organizing a seminar titled "The Youth and the Crisis of the Arab State" on the 15th of April 2017, the first day of the 11th Al Jazeera Forum. It will discuss the following themes:
- The position of Arab youth on the crisis-ridden Arab state
- The role that the Arab youth can play in the process of maintaining the cohesion and reforming the Arab states
- Violence, armed opposition and the challenges of state building
- The role of Islamist movements in the formation of the youth's perception of the concept of state
The panelists participating are:
- Khalil al-Anani, Associate Professor of Political Science at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies
- Mohamed El-Moctar Shinqiti, Associate Professor of Political Ethics at Hamad Bin Khalifa University
- Mu’taz Alkhatib, Assistant Professor of Methodology and Ethics at Hamad Bin Khalifa University
The seminar comes as part of the 11th Al Jazeera Forum organised by Al Jazeera Centre for Studies in Doha on 15-16 April 2017 under the title, "State Crisis and the Future of the Middle East".
